Fauzia Ansari

Fauzia Ansari is an experienced and accomplished educator with over 25 years of teaching experience, including 17 years as the Headmistress of Anjuman-I-Islam’s Begum Sharifa Kalsekar Girls’ English High School. She has been recognized for her contributions to education with numerous awards and accolades, including the State’s Best Teacher Award by the Government of Maharashtra and being named one of the 50 most influential principals by the World Education Congress, Global Teacher Accreditation by Cambridge Education Foundation, UK, Google Certified Educator and many more. In addition to her role as a British Council School Ambassador since 2009, Fauzia Ansari is also a validated trainer for core skills by Imagine Education and NILE-UK and a British Council Training Consultant for schools PAN India.

She has also been a panel member for the ISA accreditation, assessing action plans and school portfolios across India and Nigeria. She has received the British Council’s International School Award Re-accreditation thrice, has had exchange visits with partner schools in the UK. She has also been selected as a forum moderator and online course assessor for the Connecting Classrooms Programmes' International Learning Community. She has worked on several international collaborative projects, furthering her expertise in education and developing innovative approaches to teaching 21st century skills.
